Welcome to the first part of my harry potter inspired tutorial for making hedwig. I had made some little colorful owls for a craft show once and my husband says, you know, if you changed the colors it could be hedwig. I used a yellow/gold and white thread for the golden snitch, a brown thread for the chocolate frog, and white, black, and yellow/gold thread for hedwig.
