I really really wanted to buy one but decided they were too. I've created a crochet pattern for that jayne cobb earflap hat that you may have seen worn by. Jayne cobb was a character in the tragically canceled 2002 television show firefly, and in that show he received a hat that looked like this.
Yellow, orange, red to reproduce jayne cobb’s hat from the tv show firefly. Jayne cobb inspired hat free pattern. But i crocheted this version on account of my harebrained.
A crochet version of the hat jayne gets from his mum in sci fi series firefly. I can’t knit but wanted to make the hat for a huge firefly fan’s birthday, so i decided to make a mini jayne cobb hat in single crochet. I wanted to show my browncoat pride and make a firefly hat, but since i also design patterns, i didn't want people thinking i was incapable of making a decent hat.
Lamb’s pride bulky is a common yarn used in jayne hats. No hook size is given. I'll finally make this hat he wants! granted the hat jayne wears in firefly is actually knitted, not crocheted you can still yield a similar hat.
