Makes a cover approximately 18cm in diameter. Size 20 mercerised crochet cotton in contrasting colour. Size 20 mercerised crochet cotton in main colour.
The pattern is crocheted in the round, with beads added on the edging (last round) to work as a weight to hold the cover down. I used thin cotton thread for doilies, and 4 mm plastic beads. When i finished the first one, i so liked how it turned out, that i made 3 of them, the same day.
