Pattern is from sunshinegemini on etsy and is the best $10 i've ever spent. I crocheted this hat inspired by the hat from the 1975s sincerity is scary music video. The hat is originally 11 x 8 inches, but when folded up (as shown in picture) it is 11 x 6.

Skull caps and beanies berets and tams slouchy hats. The ears would just be 2 tubes then decrease to a point and stitch on. I'd say use maybe an aran weight wool and a 6mm hook for the hat, and a smaller hook (say 5mm) but same.
