Small Lightning Bolt Crochet Pattern. Notice that the bolt is on an angle. If you attaching it to clothing or halloween costumes, keep the angle in mind.

The lightning bolt is a generous size of 16 high by 6 width at the top. Ch 15, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in next 2 ch, 4 dc in next ch, hdc in next 2 ch, dc3tog, hdc in next 2 ch, dc in last 2 ch: This pattern is available for free.
If securing to the square, be sure to respect the angle. G or 4 mm needle for. Or whatever you can think of!
I created this pattern while making items for a harry potter conference craft fair. The crochet lightning square is part of the action packed afghan. Notice that the bolt is on an angle.
I designed it to add to my outfit for a david bowie night. Worsted weight, i used red heart but i would think a sturdy cotton would work even better for the shaping. If you attaching it to clothing or halloween costumes, keep the angle in mind.
